This Easy Chili Recipe has been our family favorite for over 30 years. It is a recipe that goes well with crackers on a cold winter day; add to a taco salad for a light meal; or leave the beans out and use as hot dog chili or serve over a baked potato for a chili baked potato.
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 1pound can kidney beans
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- salt, pepper
Directions:
Brown ground beef in oil in a large skillet.
Add onion and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add paprika, Tabasco, chili powder, beans and soup.
Heat together thoroughly.
Combine flour and water.
Stir into chili mixture and heat.
Season with salt and pepper
