This is an easy Barbecued Beef Brisket Recipe that is good for serving in the summer. It is great for a large gathering of friends and family. Maybe you will even have leftovers, if you are lucky.
Good to serve with baked beans or corn on the cob.
Ingredients:
- 5 pound brisket.
- salt and pepper to taste.
- 3-4 cups your favorite barbecue sauce.
DIRECTIONS:
- Place brisket in roasting pan.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cover and bake at 325° for about 4 hours.
- Cool and refrigerate.
- Slice thin and combine with barbecue sauce in large casserole dish.
- Bake at 350° until thoroughly heated.
- Serve on Kaiser rolls.
- Serves 12.
